Roll A Ramps load-bearing approach plates are made of stainless steel and can support the total weight of the ramp directly and do not require users to do the typical installation of placing an entire ramp segment on the top-end ledge.
The load-bearing plate is advantageous as it will enable users a longer useable ramp length and will remove the slight rise that is associated with the standard approach plates at the top of the ramp landing.
Approach plates typically arrive in the metallic zinc coated finish. This zinc finish over the steel provides additional corrosion resistance.
Additionally, the underside of each approach plate has texture to help it grip the stair or ledge that the ramp will rest on.
