Refractory mortar offers heat resistance and helps maintain consistent thermal properties in high-temperature environments, including incinerators, crematoriums, furnaces, kilns, and other high-temperature firebox applications. 

There are two forms of refractory mortar:

The first is Heat Stop 50, a dry-mix 50-lb. bag of refractory mortar designed for use with firebrick.

The second is Heat Cast 40, a 40-lb. bag of refractory castable. It is NOT a mortar for use with firebrick, but rather a Castable Refractory used for making custom slab surfaces for incinerators and other high-temperature furnace applications. It can also be used to cast custom firebricks. 

Most industrial incinerators run between 1,600-2,200°F, depending on the application, which is the perfect temperature range for both of these products. 

his refractory mortar meets ASTC C-199, ASTM C-1283, & ASTM E-136 standards, along with the NFPA-211 residential building code.

Handles high temps up to 2,500 degrees.
