Classic black rubber mulch has been used in residential landscapes and playgrounds for decades because of its high fall protection rating, longevity, and ability to withstand the elements.

Black mulch comes in two options: The unpainted and uncoated variety that is more popular for military and workout applications, and the black-painted type more suited for playgrounds.

Painted rubber mulch does NOT leave dirt marks on hands or clothing because of the pigment sealing and coating process. Unpainted rubber mulch does not have the same color sealing feature.

NOTE: IMC Outdoor living rubber mulch brands such as GroundSmart and NuPlay may have different bag packaging depending on the manufacturing facility. Though packing may differ, the rubber mulch product is manufactured the same. Mulch nugget size and color may vary from batch to batch.
