Amerlock 2/400 Epoxy Coating 2 Gallon Kit
The 2-gallon kits include a 1-gallon Amerlock 2/400 base and either 1-gallon Amerlock 2 or 1-gallon Amerlock 400, depending on the desired product.
Amerlock 2:
- 4 mils: ~350 SF/gallon
- 8 mils: ~176 SF/gallon
Amerlock 4:
- 4 mils: ~330 SF/gallon
- 8 mils ~165 SF/gallon
Amerlock 2
Amerlock 2 is a fast-drying, surface-tolerant, high-solids epoxy coating with a low VOC (volatile organic compound) content. It cures quickly, even at low temperatures (down to -10°C/14°F). It is known for its superior chemical resistance and ability to adhere to damp or marginally prepared surfaces, including those with tightly adhering rust.

Fast dry time (dry to touch in as little as 3 hours at 20°C/68°F, recoatable in 6 hours).

Can be applied over damp surfaces or adherent rust.

Amerlock 400
Description: Amerlock 400 is a versatile, high-solids epoxy coating (approximately 83% solids) that serves as a self-priming topcoat over most existing coatings. It cures through a wide temperature range and offers excellent chemical resistance to splash, spillage, fumes, and immersion in neutral, fresh, or saltwater. It has a longer pot life compared to Amerlock 2, making it suitable for larger projects.

- Self-priming and compatible with most tightly adhering coatings.
- Available in a variety of colors (including aluminum).
- Low solvent content reduces pinholing and solvent entrapment.
- Can be applied in areas where blasting is impractical.
