Flame Stop ii 1 gallon is excellent for testing Flame Stop on various wood applications. It's also useful for smaller projects. This product treats porous woods, lumber, and cedar shake shingles. When it's applied correctly, it provides a Class A Fire Rating.

This water-based Class A one-coat solution is applied post-treatment and is non-combustible, non-carcinogenic, and super easy to use on unsealed wood.

Flame Stop contains no PBDEs and is helpful for indoor and outdoor applications. It is biodegradable and enables good resistance against harmful pests such as insects and rodents. Because of the added mold and mildew inhibitors, this is effective against mold growth, including black mold.

Tested ASTM E-84, NFPA 255, and UL 723 has provided a "Class A" Flame Spread index of 25. This is the best possible rating awarded to fire-retardant building products like concrete.

Coverage Rates: Single application provides 125 square feet per gallon, 625 square feet per 5 gallon pail
Cure Time: single coat requires 48 hour curing period, test only after cure is complete
Spray Application: Use low-pressure airless sprayer with .012 nozzle tip for best results
