VERSETTA STONE STYLES AND COLORS

Versetta Stone is a mortarless, cement-based manufactured stone veneer siding product designed to replicate the authentic look and texture of natural stone masonry. Crafted from a mixture of concrete, aggregate, water, and mineral oxide pigments, it offers the aesthetic appeal of hand-laid stone walls with virtually undetectable joints. Unlike traditional stone or brick, Versetta Stone is lightweight and comes in pre-formed panels, typically measuring 8 inches tall by 36 inches long, with each panel covering approximately 2 square feet and weighing about 17 pounds.

It is available in two distinct styles—Ledgestone, Tight-Cut, each offering unique textures and appearances to suit various architectural preferences. Ledgestone features a rough-cut, staggered, dry-stack look and Tight-Cut offers a sophisticated, uniformly cut appearance; Versetta Stone is produced by Boral (now part of Westlake Royal Building Products), a company with decades of experience in the manufactured stone industry, ensuring high-quality, durable, and visually appealing products.

It comes in multiple color options, such as Plum Creek, Sterling, Mission Point, Northern Ash, Glen Canyon, Lunar Drift, and Granite Peak. allowing for customization to match diverse design needs.

The following colors have been retired and are no longer produced or available for purchase: Graphite, Terra Rosa, Sand, Sea Salt, Midnight

VERSETTA LEDGESTONE

The ledgestone profile style has a natural stacked stone look and is commonly used for both residential and commercial applications. Some say it has a more rugged or rustic feel of cabin fireplace surround. The Ledgestone profile provides more visual variability in the height and staggering of the stone design.

VERSETTA TIGHT-CUT

The Tight Cut profile is bit more orderly than its ledgestone counterpart and offers a level of sophistication to a wall or surround.

The Tight-Cut pattern has less variability in both the height of stones and the offset staggering, enabling more of the block like stone appearance.

WHERE IS VERSETTA STONE USED?

Versetta Stone is highly versatile and can be used in both exterior and interior applications, making it suitable for residential and commercial projects. Its lightweight design eliminates the need for structural reinforcements, enabling its use in a wide range of settings. Common exterior applications include:

  • Home Exteriors: As full siding, wainscoting, or accent walls to enhance curb appeal.
  • Fireplace Surrounds: To create a luxurious, stone-like focal point indoors or outdoors.
  • Accent Walls: For interior spaces like living rooms, home offices, or bedrooms, adding texture and warmth.
  • Porch Columns and Posts: To wrap columns for an elegant, welcoming look.
  • Sheds and Outbuildings: To elevate the appearance of storage structures or backyard features.
  • Commercial Buildings: For sophisticated facades or interior design elements in offices, restaurants, or retail spaces.
  • Kitchen Backsplashes: As a unique, stone-textured alternative to traditional tile.
