Van ramps are a practical option for wheelchair and scooter access. Full-size van ramps are available in two widths: 30 inches for doors with a minimum width of 32 inches and 36 inches for doors with a minimum width of 38 inches.

Van ramps are classified into two types: manual folding ramps and motorized MiniFold ramps.

Manual Folding Van Ramps:

These ramps are less expensive than completely adapted accessible vans and may be placed in many conventional factory vans. The ramps are raised and lowered from their folded position to the ground. They are about 10-12 inches deep and may be removed if extra door space is needed.

Manual ramps are constructed of aerospace aluminum, which makes them sturdy and capable of supporting up to 1,000 pounds. A 10-year manufacturer's warranty covers the ramp, while the powered systems have a one-year motor warranty. They easily install on the floor of many standard vehicles.
